Cinnamon Apples

Why not make one of your 2 fruit a day dessert? pretty sure it took less time to cook these than it did to make and write this recipe!

Ingredients:

1 apple per person

2 tbs maple syrup

1/4 tsp cinnamon 

1 tbs butter

Crushed nuts or seeds (I used macadamias and pepitas)

Yoghurt or ice cream to serve

Method:

Finely slice apples and fry in butter till just softening. Stir in maple syrup and cinnamon till starting to caramelise (this part won’t take long, only a minute).

Serve with yoghurt or ice cream and crushed nuts on top.
